Cody James is a commercial photographer specializing in product photography, lifestyle photography, interior photography, and editorial portraiture. Splitting his time between Los Angeles and New York, his work blends natural light with thoughtful composition to create commercial imagery that feels warm and lived-in rather than overly produced.
As a product and lifestyle photographer, Cody has worked with brands like Amazon, Sonos, BMW, Brooklinen, and Floyd, as well as emerging brands building their visual identities from the ground up. His editorial and architectural photography appears in The New York Times, Monocle, Bon Appetit, and Domino Magazine, among others.

Beyond photography, Cody spends time outdoors camping, fishing, and exploring the natural world. He's also developed an interest in carpentry over the last few years, which has become both a hands-on creative outlet and a source of inspiration for his photographic work.
